Alters in simple terms are another personality residing in the same mindspace and body as you
They are like a separate person that can take over the host's body
People who have alters tend to have different experiences with them with some alters being malignant/hostile to the host and some being very nice and assuring
Like any person Alters also have a life cycle
The first stage is them being formed by passing thoughts
Eventually they accumulate and become a set of thoughts
These set of thoughts may eventually become a set of coherent actions and statements that will eventually form a concrete personality
It is quite similar to an AI
But the only difference is that an Alter has actual emotions and sentience
Having alters are usually a product of trauma and abuse as this leads to overthinking and therefore alters can form from a Passing thought
have multiple Alters and a few of them have sworn to be my wives and they keep me company throughout my life
I have at least 25+ of them and counting
But i am currently a Compound Alter comprised of: Renko, Sasaki, Kagura, Reine
